Bircher Museli

Yummo!  I had my favourite breakfast this morning – bircher museli.  It is so good for me and fills me up for the morning.  I use whatever fruit I have int he house and try to mix it up a bit.  Today I have used frozen rasperries which I thawed so you get that gorgeous runny liquid and an organic kiwifruit from the markets.  My favourite is still the classic banana and strawberries though – it is so summery!

30g organic oats

40ml organic apple juice

40 mls water

1 Tblsp LSA

1-2 Tblsp Jalna fat free biodynamic yoghurt

fruit to serve

I soak the oats in the juice and water overnight.  Then add the LSA and yoghurt and mix well.  Put into a breakfast bowl and top with the fruit – YUM! Enjoy!

This serves one and is approximately 280 calories.

  1. oh yum! raspberries are my fave! the tartness would be a nice change from the usual honeyed bircher!
